Message From Splunk Founders - What is SPLUNK!

LDAP stands for "Lightweight Directory Access Protocol". This is an open source, vendor-neutral, industry standard application protocol for accessing and maintaining distributed directory information services over an Internet Protocol network.

But IBM has it's own version called SDS (Security Directory Server). The older version was TDS (Tivoli Directory Server).

Our zFlex LDAP can be used to help you quickly setup LDAP authentication and standard protocol using our Bootstrap zFLEX framework which is using IBM's SDS!

zFlex offers a FREE to use ONLINE LDAP. August Schell used our Offering for their Splunk access setup.

See how to integrate splunk here - from August Schell blog....https://blog.augustschell.com/configuring-splunk-access-controls-ldap here!
